The 45th Brazilian Meeting of Economics (ANPEC - Associação National de Pós-Graduação em Economia) took place in Natal, from December 12-15, 2017. Alexandre Gori presented the paper analyzing how rural migration affects average agricultural yield in Brazil.
The 2017 AAEA Annual Meeting (Agricutural & Aplied Economics Association) took place in Chicago, from July 20th to August 1st 2017. Alexandre Gori and Rodgrigo Lanna presented their papers on how ecossystem services can mitigate the impacts of climate change, and the role of credit on agricultural poduction.
The book "Econometria: conceitos e aplicações" has been recently published by the Saint Paul Editor. The book is a result of more than 15 years teaching undergraduate students of Economics at University of Campinas.
