The 2017 AAEA Annual Meeting (Agricutural & Aplied Economics Association) took place in Chicago, from July 20th to August 1st 2017. Alexandre Gori and Rodgrigo Lanna presented their papers on how ecossystem services can mitigate the impacts of climate change, and the role of credit on agricultural poduction.

The study presented by Alexandre Gori, written in partnership with Bruno Miyamoto and Junior Garcia, highlights how agriculture practiced with higher levels of environmental preservation is more resilient to extreme temperature and precipitation events. Click here to read it.

The study presented by Rodrigo Lanna, written in partnership with Gabriela Eusébio and Alexandre Gori, analyzes the bicausal relationship between credit and agricultural production.
